We Didn’t Name Him “Zeus”

Ryan and I heard lots of interesting and “powerful” guesses to what we would name the new baby boy. Names like Zeus, Stone, Titus, and the like.

Here’s what we settled on:

Duke Fredrick Walls

That's the look of relief on my face.

Duke was born at 12:45pm on May 23 – 7lbs. 9oz – 21″ long.

The funniest thing about the whole morning was that I went in for a scheduled induction only to find out I was actually in labor all on my own (and didn’t even know it yet!).

The “pushing” portion lasted 4 contractions and he was out! Phenomenally short. That’s what the deadlifts will do!

This is probably the cutest thing I'll see all day.
